1. Body: Any full size american made car or truck with 105” minimum wheelbase. Must have
stock steel top, you may fabricate the rest of the rest of the body, car must retain original shape of car (no flat sides),back
of car or truck must be closed in. (ARP TYPE BODIES OK) Must have rear firewall or you may box inside of car in. Must have
full stock floor pans. You may run aftermarket nose and tail pieces, 6”spoiler maximum. ALL CARS MUST HAVE TOW STRAP
FRONT AND REAR!
2. CHASSIS: Must have stock frame bumper to bumper. May use frame connectors. May cut floor
pan out of right side but must be boxed in.
3. SUSPENSION: Racing stocks and springs; okay. Lowering blocks; okay. Aftermarket top a-frame;
okay. Sterring boxes, May run Hym joints and aluminum tie rod ends , can run screw jacks.
4. REARENDS: …..ANY STOCK REARENDS. NO FLOATERS.
5. BRAKES: Stock disc brakes on front and rear; okay. No aftermarket roters or calibers. Adjustable
pedals; okay. Must have 4 wheel brakes.
6. WHEELS: Steel, 8” wide maximum. Bead Lock right rear only.
7. TIRES: 265-60-15 dot racing tire or 275-60-15 street tires or racing recaps.
8. DRIVE SHAFT: Any steel. No aluminum. Must be painted white.
9. TRANSMISSION: Stock OEM.
10. FLYWHEELS: Stock type steel metal. Must weigh 16 lbs. Minimum. Any clutch.
11. WEIGHT: 3000LBS.
12. ENGINE: OEM blocks only, .060 over bore; okay.
PISTONS: Any flat top.
CRANKSHAFTS: Stock OEM only. NO STROCKING OR DESTROCKING. NO KNIFE EDGE.
HEADS:………any cast iron OEM straight plug, no angle
plug. Intake and exhaust ports must be untouched. NO vortec heads,NO bow tie heads. May run product stock replacement heads
add 50lbs to nose of car.
1.94/1.50 valves, screw in studs & guide plates,May run 2.02/1.60 exhaust but must add 100 lbs.
VALVE SPRING:……any.
RETAINER: STEEL ONLY.
CAM:……solid lift .500 checked with .025 valve lash.
LIFTERS:……..stock dia. Solid; okay. No rollers, no mushrooms.
INTAKES:…….May run Victor JR. aluminum Must be stock appearing.
No porting, no polishing. FORDS may use Edelbrock performer intake on 351 engines. NO TOLERENCE!!!!
CARB:…….600 Holley maximum. Stock no modifications. May
take choke flap out or you may run stock carb 0625
SPACER:……1: maximum.
IGNITION:…….stock HEI NO MSD.
HEADER:……any but must run mufflers
