1.Body: Any American mad car 1955 to current year. No rear engine cars or convertibles. The body must be completely stock and be all metal. Hulling of the body is permitted to clear for removed. Hoods and trunk lids must remain stock. Trimming fenders and quarters for tire clearance is ok. May run after market front and rear nose pieces.

2.Wheel base: Minimum 101 inch with 1 inch tollerance. Must be stock length for making model of the car.

3.Frame: Frame must be stock for the car. Unibody cars may tie front and rear sections together however floor pans can not be altered

4.Springs, Shocks: After market steel springs and shocks may be used. They must be mounted in stock location and stock mounts. Can not be adjustable.

5.Sway Bars: Stock sway bars with adjustors may be used on front or rear.

6.Transmission: Must be stock with all gears remaining and working. Automatic ok. Must have torque converters.

7.Clutches and Flywheels: No aluminum fly wheels. Minimum weight 16 pounds. Automatic flex plates must be steel. Clutches may be stock OEM or OEM replacement. Clutch must be actuated by factory emans (IE. Factory type cable, Z bar, or hydrolic slave cylinder) No hydrolic release bearings allowed. Any bell housing will be allowed; However, steel scatter shields are strongly recommended for safety.

8.Rear End: Any stock OEM rear end ok. 9 inch ford in any make or model ok. Rear End may be locked, any gear ratio. No floaters or quick change rears allowed. May run Disc Brakes.

9.Steering: Factory gear box with quickeners ok. Rack and pinion may be used on cars that came factory with rack. No aftermarket racks allowed. Rack or steering box must be mounted in stock location.

10.Set Back: Engine must be mounted in stock location, No set back allowed. Solid mounts ok. No engine plates.

11.Spoilers: May run spoilers,NO side skirts, or hood scoops will be allowed

12.Fuel Cell: Fuel Cells are required. Must be mounted in a safe place.

13.Engine: Engines must be stock OEM production engines, maximum size, GM 350 CI. Ford 351 CI, Chrysler 360 CI,. All engines maximum overbore 0.060” minimum piston to deck clearance is “0”.

14.Pistons: Cast or forged stock replacement flat top or dish top piston only. No lightening or other modifications to the piston allowed.

15.Cam and Lifters: Any hydraulic cam and lifter ok. Anti pump lifters ok. Must be stock diameter lifters for the engine.

16.Heads: Stock OEM cast iron heads only. No angle plug or performance heads, No vortec heads,No Double Hump Heads. No modifications except screw in studs and guide plates may be installed. Must have stock diameter valve springs and stock rocker arms for the engine used, steel valve retainers only. Steel valves only, three angle valve job ok. Maximum valve size GM 1.94” INT. 1.5” esh. Ford 1.84” INT. 1.54 EXH. Chrysler 1.88” INT. 1.6” EXH. No hand bending, no roller tip rockers.

17.Rods: OEM rods only, stock length for engine, stronger rod bolts may be used, polishing, stress releiving, and floating pens are optional.

18.Exhaust: Headers legal.but must run mufflers

19.Intake: OEM factory cast iron intake with no modifications, No bow tie intakes one inch spacer is allowed.

20.Carburetor: Must be one of the following; Holley 600 CFM #1850, Holley 500 CFM 3 BBL #04412 or any factory quadrajet.; Choke horn and part number must be in tact. Removal of choke butterfly and assembly is ok.

21.Crankshaft: Stock OEM crank only. Must be stock stroke with no modifications, casting numbers must be visible, stock steel cranks ok (50 LB. Minimum). Rotating assembly may be balanced.

22.Ignition: Stock OEM distributors only, points or electronics ok. No aftermarket modules allowed, stock coils only.

23.Weight: V8 3200 Lbs. 6 cyl 2900 Lbs.

24.Wheels: 8”steel wheels only. Large studs ok.

25.Tires: Any 70 series street tire, No soft compound performance. No recaps. 8” tread width max.

26.All cars must have track approved roll cage and safety harness

27. All drivers must wear helmet and wear fire retardant suit.

28. All cars must have a fire extinguisher.

29. Acceptance fee on protest is $50.
